Lawrence P. “Larry” Morgan, 67, of Billerica died on May 20, 2026. Born in Utica, NY, he was the son of the late William H. and Elizabeth R. “Betty” (Rowe) Morgan.
Larry was the dear brother of Paul W. Morgan and his wife Jeanne of Medford, Catherine M. Devaney and her husband John “Bobby” of Billerica, Peter J. Morgan and his wife Patricia of Arlington, Gregory J. Morgan of Medford and Thomas H. Morgan of Medford. Larry was the beloved uncle to Jeffrey P. Morgan, Caitlin J. M. Murphy and her husband Chris, Andrea M. McCarthy and her husband Steve, Rachel M. Morgan, and Joseph F. Morgan and great uncle to Sadie, William, Andrew and Lucas.
Most of his career was dedicated to electronics and test engineering. Prior to his retirement Larry had worked as a test engineer at American Power Conversion (APC) Corporation.
Larry loved outdoor walks, strength training, and photography. He also found great joy in riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and would attend the Laconia, New Hampshire, Motorcycle Week in June for many years. For a time he worked as a motorcycle mechanic.
He had a kind, generous heart and was always ready to help anyone, any time, whether family, friends, or co-workers. He had an inquisitive mind and was an avid lifelong learner. He also seemed to know everything about cars, motors, electricity and computers. If anyone had a car problem, they would call Larry, even if they were stuck on the side of a road in another state. Larry was a graduate of Medford High School and of North Shore Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree in electronics.
Larry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society. Interment will be private.
