Thomas M. Garczynski, age 81, passed away on May 24, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 16, 1945 in Holyoke, son of the late Thomas P. Garczynski and Stacia (Ogulewicz) Garczynski. Thomas served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later worked as a printer for Package Printing Company for many years before he retired. He is predeceased by his wife Rena M. (Fontaine) Garczynski who passed away in 2018, one brother, Stanley Garczynski and one sister, Jeannie. He is survived by two sons, Jeff Garczynski of FL and Brad Garczynski of West Springfield; one daughter, Dawn Palmer of Springfield; one brother, Johnny Garczynski of CO; three sisters Mary Jane Jarrett of Chicopee, Stella Garrison of New Mexico and Tina Bosquet of MA; seven grandchildren, Brianna, Kizandra, Asa, Riley, Samantha, Kurtis and Jason; five great grandchildren, Javian, Adonis, Silas, Amaya and Toby and one great grandchild on the way. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 9:00 AM in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
