
Xuan Doan, 44, of Auburn died Saturday, May 23rd at home. He leaves his wife 17 years, Thuy Teresa (Tran) Doan; two daughters, Tristyn Doan and Teagan Doan both of Auburn; his parents, An Doan and Be Ngo of Carnesville, GA; three brothers, Giang Nguyen and his wife, Hang, Kiet Nguyen and his wife, Dao Bui, and Tuan Nguyen all of Georgia; three sisters, Kieu Nguyen and her husband, Loc Nguyen of Worcester, Marianne Doan and her husband, Dung Tran, and Jennifer Doan all of Georgia. He was predeceased by two brothers, Hoa Nguyen and Sang Nguyen.
Born in Binh An, Vietnam, Xuan immigrated to the United States in 1985 with his family. Through hard work, determination, and quiet strength, he built a life centered onfamily, and simple joys.
A mechanic, Xuan dedicated many years to his work. He was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church.
Outside of work, Xuan appreciated the beauty and peace found in nature. He had a special passion for cultivating bonsai trees, patiently tending to them with care and pride. He enjoyed spending time fishing at the Cape Canal, clam digging with his family, and relaxing by the ocean. Some of his favorite places to visit were Cape Cod and Narragansett, where he enjoyed the beaches, fresh air, and treasured moments with loved ones.
Above all, Xuan cherished the time he spent with his family. Whether sharing a meal, enjoying a day at the beach, or gathering for simple moments together, family was at the center of his life. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, gentle nature, and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
He leaves behind his beloved family and many friends who will miss him dearly and carry his memory in their hearts always.
His funeral is Saturday, May 30th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 153 Sterling Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, May 29th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
