Judith “Judy” Langley Lamberth, a devoted mother, grandmother and woman of unwavering faith, entered her heavenly home on May 23, 2026. She passed peacefully, surrounded by love, and she is now restored, whole, and held in the presence of her Savior.
Born in Tifton, Georgia on January 6, 1947, Ms. Lamberth was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Langley and Mary Bell Young Langley. She built a life rooted in compassion, strength, and a deep commitment to her family and her faith. Ms. Lamberth loved to garden, watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and read her Bible. She adored her family, even if we all knew her beloved puppy, Zoie, held the top spot in her heart and the rest of us were just graciously allowed to compete for second place.
Ms. Lamberth is survived by one daughter, Michelle Calhoun of Tifton; one son, Kevin Langley of Tifton; two grandsons, Cameron Langley and his wife Sydney of Augusta and James Butler Langley of Tifton; one great-grandson, Lucas Langley of Augusta; one niece, Sandy Tuttle of Tifton; a great-niece, Katelyn Tuttle of Tifton; and a great-nephew, Harley Tuttle of Nashville, all of whom carry her love, her lessons, and her laughter forward.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Ann Langley; three brothers, Henry Langley, Emory Langley, and Robert Langley; and her puppy, Zoie.
Her life was a testament to grace. Even in the hardest years of her illness, her gentle heart and quiet strength continued to shine. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now free from the weight of her illness and she is with God.
A celebration of her life will be held on May 28, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Ms. Lamberth will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 am until the hour of service. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend to honor her memory.
