Jeanne G. Rheaume, 92, of Woonsocket died peacefully Thursday April 23, 2026, at Hope Hospice Center in Providence. She was the loving wife of the late Roland “Shorty” Rheaume.
Born in Oakland, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Annette (Bois) Beaudreau. She was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Jeanne was employed by Polytop Corporation in Slatersville for over 25 years before retiring in 1994.
Jeanne enjoyed listening to big band music and dancing (esp. the jitterbug).
Jeanne was the sister of the late Richard Beaudreau, late Gloria Desmarais, and Jacqueline “Jackie” Griffin.
Jeanne didn’t have any children but her two cats, Sniffy and Smokey filled in for 10 years.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Services will be held at the St. Jean-Baptise cemetery, Friday, May 29th at 10:30AM.
