
William Harrison "Bill" Brimberry, III, 94, of Tifton passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Chip Grantham officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Mr. Brimberry will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Louisville, Georgia City Cemetery.
Mr. Brimberry’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 2, 1931, in Atlanta, Mr. Brimberry was the son of the late William Harrison Brimberry, Jr. and Ernestine Logan Brimberry Lane. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Stone Brimberry; and one daughter, Carrie Ann Brimberry Macaluso. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Southern, where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He was also certified in Georgia and Florida in Civil Engineering; and, before retiring, he was a professional Civil and Environmental Engineer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Tifton; and he was a veteran of the United States Army. He was also a member of the Harley Davidson Tifton Hogs.
Mr. Brimberry is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Randy Hand of Tifton, and Julie Ann Vogt of Pembroke Pines, Florida; and eight grandchildren and their spouses, William Macaluso, Lauren and Cory Popp, Michael and Kacey Macaluso, Justin and Sara Frances Hand, Chance and Ashlea Hand, Tyler Hand, Emily Vogt and Ethan Vogt; seven great-grandchildren, Lane, Connor, Lillea, Emberlea, Della, Juniper and Mira; and his kind and loving companion, Eleanor Sheffield
