
Geraldine R (Angell) Healey ”Gerry”

Gerry Healey, age 84, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026.
Born in Lowell MA on July 10th, 1941 She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mabel Angell of Billerica. Gerry grew up in Billerica and graduated from Billerica Howe High School Class of 1959. Gerry started a family young and mothered 4 beautiful children. She later met Thomas F. Healey at the Red Mill where she waitressed, they married on July 9th 1982. Gerry was a secretary for many years at various companies including Kierulff Electronics and Eden Toys. She also served as a volunteer firefighter in Plainfield MA.
Gerry was a lifetime attendee of the First Congregational Church in Billerica. The family significance of the church meant everything to her. Her parents were married there, her siblings, herself, one child and two grandchildren baptized. Gerry became a member of the church in 1999. She also has served as an, usher, church clerk, Deacon and as a leader of Aim-High Women’s Committee.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, puzzles, gambling as well as traveling the world with her husband Tom and family.
She is survived by three children, Shelley L. Ryals and her late husband, Ronald of Tewksbury, Jeffrey E. Martin and his wife, Jeannine of Plymouth, MA, Ginger L. Scott of Tewksbury and a daughter-in-law Ann Marie Cadigan of Acton, ME; her brother Richard A Angell and his wife, Evangeline of Tyngsboro; eight grandchildren, Eric and significant other Jessica, Rebecca and her husband Mario, Jarad, Justin and his significant other Frenchi, Robert and his wife Tamara, Jordan and his wife Stephanie, Bethany and her husband Bryant, Tanner and an honorary grandson Edward Bromander and his wife Kristina; ten great-grandchildren with two on the way this year; many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Gerry was predeceased by her husband Thomas F. Healey (2016) and son Arthur A. Martin (1994).
Calling hours are Wednesday, May 27th, from 4-8 p.m. at Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28th, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 18 Andover Road, Billerica. Those attending are asked to meet at church. Services will conclude with interment at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry's memory may be made to Mill Book Country Day School, 56 Mill Road, Wilmington MA 01887.
