Pedro Gutierrez, 71, of Tifton passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. Gutierrez will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Gutierrez’s sons, Orlando Vega, Edgar Vega, Jairo Vega and his son-in-law, Luis Rodriguez will serve as pallbearers
Born July 3, 1954, in Jalisco, Mexico, Mr. Gutierrez was the son of the late Arnulfo Gutierrez and Refugio Gutierrez. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Martiniana Gutierrez. He was employed at Tift Regional Medical Center in the Security Department, as well as Jones Construction Company and First String Space, Inc. He was hardworking, strong and family oriented.
Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his wife of 23 years, Gloria Gutierrez of Tifton; three sons, Orlando Vega, Edgar Vega and Jairo Vega, all of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Melina and Luis Rodriguez of Tifton; one brother Esteban Gutierrez of Mexico; one sister, Maricela Gutierrez of Tifton; eight grandchildren, Ana Rodriguez, Jimena Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Christina Rodriguez, Lorenzo Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Nicolas Rodriguez and Hanadi Vega.
