Kathleen M. (Campisano) Pals, age 79, of Mansfield, passed away, in the presence of her loving family, on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of Thomas J. Pals.
Born in Brockton, MA April 12, 1947, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles J. and Ella J. (Fraccalvieri) Campisano.
Kathy grew up in Canton, was a graduate of Canton High School and attended community college. A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, she had previously been employed for the Mansfield Public Schools in food service, and keeping children safe, as a Mansfield Crossing Guard.
A resident of Mansfield for over fifty years, Kathy was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield. She loved spending time with her family, who were the focal point of her life and also enjoyed cooking, cross stitching and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children, Stacey L. Colantuoni of Foxborough, Sarah E. Theberge and her husband Eric of Warwick, RI, Ryan C. Grover of North Attleboro and the late Kelly M. Grover. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph, Steven, Alexis, Makenna and Cynthia. She was the dear sister of Jack Campisano and his wife Darlene of Brockton and Charlene Campisano of Canton and Charlene’s late husband Salvatore Vaccarro. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, May 26th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
