Jeannine (Aube) Carbonneau, age 90, passed away on May 2, 2026 at the Pioneer Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in South Hadley. She was born on December 21, 1935 in Drummondville, Canada, daughter of the late Fortunat and Corona (Bussiere) Aube. Jeannine was a communicant of St Rose de Lima Parish. She worked at Spalding for many years before she retired. She enjoyed shopping, going out to dinner and dancing, especially to Polka music. She is survived by her brother John Claude Aube of Chicopee; three nieces, Joanne Cote, Suzanne Fontaine and Melanie Sutton and three nephews, Richard Korell, Roger Korell and Thomas Van Keuren. She is predeceased by her two sisters, Claudette Korell and Gisele R. Aube Arvin, her niece Lisa Korell and her beloved cats. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM in St Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
