Patricia C. (Husselbee) Silva, of Medford, passed away Thursday, May 7th. She was 96. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Francis Job and Frances (Dziedzic) Husselbee.

“Patty, Patsy, Toots, Nana, Mom as she was known during her amazing journey of life … always interested, she would go to any event, meeting, long walk or faraway place from Casino to a 3 week Cruise to the Market Basket just to go because she was always in the moment. She was never like other moms; she was uniquely Patty, friends with everyone and always dancing to her own beat. She consistently excelled in unexpected ways, living a long and beautiful life. You were present at my beginning, and I was with you at the end, peacefully. Bless”

She was the beloved mother of James F. Silva Jr., and his late partner Peter J. Stone. She was the dear sister of the late Donald Husselbee, the late Ruth Murray and the late Lorraine Runcie. She was the loving aunt of Skippy Murray, Donna Runcie, John Runcie, Bobby Runcie, Diane Runcie-Carpenter and the late Donny Murray, and the best friend of Anette Scoppa.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Wednesday May 20th from 9 to 11 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11:30 AM.
