Linda (Devereaux) Pecce, 64, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, surrounded by her friends and family. She was the beloved wife of Michael Pecce of Brockton, with whom she shared 38 loving years of marriage.
Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Priscilla (Gedick) and Robert Devereaux. Linda lived life to the fullest and embraced each day with warmth and joy.
She was the devoted mother of Michael Pecce Jr. and his fiancée Jeannette, and a proud grandmother to Bellamy and Veda Pecce, who brought her endless happiness. She was also the beloved mother of Tony Pecce and Brittney Pecce and her partner, Ruben.
Linda is survived by her sister, Maureen McQuarrie and her husband Bill; her brother, Paul Devereaux and his wife Cheryl; and was predeceased by her brother, Robert “Robby” Devereaux, affectionately known as “Uncle Bubba.” She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, dear friends, and her cherished “fur babies.”
Linda found great joy in spending time with family and friends and never missed an opportunity to enjoy her favorite show, Family Feud. She left us far too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Those fortunate enough to have been part of Linda’s life will remember her kind heart and her genuine wish for happiness for others. Her memory will be forever cherished.
