Obituary

Sainteanie Pierre-Louis also known as Sr. Nicolas was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and above all, a remarkable woman of God. Sainteanie was born on December 30, 1938, in Fond-des-Blancs, a small town in the south of Haiti. She was the third eldest out of ten children. She was preceded in death by her parents Lades Francique and Princesse Mezidor; and by her siblings Lanes Francique, Seneque Francique, Raymones Francique, Sylvia Francique and Lyzia Francique.

Sainteanie was the backbone, center and unifier of her family, a guiding presence whose life was anchored in faith and love. With strength, determination, and a deep sense of responsibility, she worked tirelessly to create a better future for her children, always putting them at the center of everything she did. She carried herself with dignity and purpose. She was a devoted mother and hardworking woman balancing work and raising a family. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and unity. Known for her generous spirit and welcoming nature, Sainteanie had a way of making others feel at ease.

Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. Sainteanie loved God deeply and expressed that love through constant prayer. She was often seen with her hands lifted in devotion, praying not only for her own family but for everyone around her. Her prayers reflected her compassion and her belief in caring for others beyond herself. Sainteanie’s life was a testament to faith, love, and selflessness, and her legacy will continue to live on in all those she touched.

On April 27, 2026, Sainteanie was called home by the Lord. Sainteanie is survived by her beloved husband Nicolas Pierre-Louis and children Gocene Pierre-Louis, Lisette Pierre-Louis, Reynold Pierre-Louis, Edith Pierre-Louis, Mackenzie Pierre-Louis, Lenes Pierre-Louis, Michael Pierre-Louis, Micheline Pierre-Louis, Ronald Pierre-Louis, and Fleurina Pierre-Louis; her grandchildren Christine, Natalie, Jonathan, Melissa, Farrah, Regine, Rebecca, Laurine, Carly,
