
Marc Keith Lusignan, 57, of Dorchester, formerly of Worcester passed away Friday, April 24th in The Boston Home surrounded by his loving family following a 2-year courageous battle with cancer. He leaves his sister, Denise Walsh and her husband, John, of Worcester; his brother, David Lusignan and his partner, Charles Miller, of Ogunquit, ME; his nephew Ryan Kelley and his wife, Rebecca; his niece and Goddaughter Alyssa Eaton and her husband Matthew; adored great nephews and great nieces, Joseph Kelley, Trent Eaton, Declan Kelley, Ally Eaton, Callum Kelley and Peyton Eaton, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was the beloved son of Donald A. and Barbara (Carsus) Lusignan. Born and raised in Auburn, Marc was a graduate of St. John’s High School and went on to study Business Management at Northeastern University. He dedicated his career to Lusignan Brothers, Inc., where he worked alongside his grandfather, father, an uncle and cousins in the family sheet metal fabrication business prior to his car accident in 1991.
Marc was a pitcher in little league. He enjoyed sports and the outdoors hunting and fishing with his grandfathers, father, uncles and cousins. He found great happiness on the water where he spent many days water skiing, boating, tubing, and swimming with family and friends. Marc had a passion for sports cars and owned some beautiful ones. Over the past 4 years, he painted beautiful watercolor paintings, sang karaoke, was very involved in events and enjoyed the beautiful gardens and fish at his home.
Above all, Marc cherished the time he spent with his family and his friends. He will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, his sweet smile, and his ability to lift you up, caring about everyone even when he was facing challenges of his own, and for the lasting memories he created with those closest to him.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 29th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, MA. The funeral is Thursday, April 30th starting at 10 a.m. at LifeSource Church, 350 Stafford Street, Cherry Valley. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to The Boston Home, 2049 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, MA 02124, in Marc’s name.
