She also leaves her brother, Mark Stanikmas and his wife, Brenda and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John J. Stanikmas and Norman Stanikmas, Jr.
Born in Worcester, the daughter of Norman Stanikmas, Sr. and Irene (Cassidy) Stanikmas, Beth was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School and went on to further her education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Worcester State University. After being a devoted stay at home mom, she went on to dedicate over 15 years to St. Vincent Hospital, where she began her career as an OR aide and later worked as an anesthesia technician.
Beth was a diehard New England Patriots fan and rarely missed a game. She loved talking football and could strike up a conversation with anyone willing to listen, always sharing her opinions with enthusiasm and humor. Adventurous at heart, she went skydiving at the age of 50, just one example of her fearless spirit.
She had a deep love for music, especially hits from the 1970s, oldies, and classic rock. In her younger years, from childhood through her teens, Beth enjoyed ballet dancing. She was well known for her sharp sense of humor, quick wit, and perfectly timed one-liners that could make anyone laugh.
Beth was an exceptional baker and was especially cherished for the cookies, candy, and treats she lovingly prepared for her family each Christmas. These traditions brought joy to all and will be fondly remembered for years to come.
Above all, Beth’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren, who were truly her world. She adored them and treasured every moment spent together.
The family would like to thank the Jewish Health Care Hospice for the exceptional care; Beth received during her illness.
