Obituary

ESPOSITO, Laurie A. (Lombardi) Lifelong resident of West Roxbury passed away on April 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Michael A. Esposito. Devoted and so greatly loved mother of Johnny, Luke, and Talia Esposito all of West Roxbury. Beloved daughter of Ann (Gentile) Lombardi and the late John Lombardi of West Roxbury. Dear sister of John Lombardi of Dedham. Ever-loving cousin to Antonia Geishecker and her daughter Alexandra. Adored sister-in-law of Guy Esposito, and Suzanne and her husband Gregory Labine. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Among Laurie’s greatest blessings were her most cherished friends and confidantes – Alicia, Judy, Lori Ann, Mary, Merri, Suzy, Toni – who were her sisters, bound by an everlasting love that sustained and uplifted her throughout her life.

A graduate of both Boston College and Simmons College, Laurie was an educator for many years in the Hopkinton school system. But she changed course and devoted her life to her children upon the birth of Johnny. She poured her heart into raising and nurturing them with the utmost patience, filling our home with laughter, kindness, creativity, wisdom, strength and an endless surplus of love. She was present for their every milestone, every achievement, offering support and encouragement. She presided over their every sickness and setbacks, nursing them back to health selflessly with gentle care and devotion. Her remarkable, loving character is forever instilled in her children, shaping them into the amazing adults they are today. They will sustain in their spirit her kindness, strength and unyielding values.
