Catherine D. Tournidis, 89, died April 17, 2026 at Hanover Hill Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on September 27, 1936 the daughter of Vasil and Olga (Dennis) Pochari.
She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School.
She enjoyed hand stitchery, she especially loved creating tablecloths for friends and family.
She worked for her family's stores, first at Merrimack Fruit & Confectionary, then with her husband as proprietors at Merrimack Restaurant. She also worked at Machinists.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Tournidis.
Family members include one son, Arthur Tournidis of Manchester, one sister, Shirley Leara and her husband, Nolan of Cincinnati, OH. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A calling hour will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 10 am to 11 am in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Island Pond Rd.
A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the church.
Burial and committal prayers will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Ave.
