Gorham- Onalee Hope "Johnson" Corrigan, 85, passed away peacefully at home with her husband,
daughter and caregiver by her side on Wed. April 8th.
Born in Anson, Maine on August 31, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Scott B. Johnson and
Fredonna M. Hibbard.
She graduated from Bangor High School in 1958, then went on to USM and Boston College where
she got her Masters degree as an LCSW. She worked as an LCSW most of her life working for DHS and
Windham prison and several other companies throughout Maine.
She adopted her daughter Sally in 1974, Sally was the joy of her life. As the years went on, she got to
travel throughout the world. The love of her horse showing led her to the love of her life as she went on to
marry John, in August 2000, at that time, they settled in Gorham, Maine where she lived the rest of her life.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, John Corrigan, daughter, Sally Johnson, caregiver,
Michelle Kirk, niece, Heather Lee "Sanborn" Ramirez, her husband, Roberto Ramirez, nephew, Lee Scott
Maurice Sanborn, great nephew and niece Scot Dylan Ramirez and Everest Sanbond and sister, Marion
Sanbond.
