Joyce D. Fischer

Joyce D. Fischer, 91, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at Bethany Point in Anderson. She was born on May 31, 1934 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of George T. and Eva (Robinson) Smith.
Joyce was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and spent most of her life as an antique dealer. She enjoyed finding and selling antiques along with her husband, Edward. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution - DAR, Wilson Historical Society in Louisville, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, Daughters of the American Colonist- DAC, First Families of Kentucky. She had served as president of Historical 8th Street Festival.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edward L. Fischer and several cousins in Kentucky.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, April 24, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Interment will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriner's Children’s Hospital.
