Daniel F. Dobbins, age 74, of South Salem, NY formerly of Woburn, passed away peacefully at the Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT, following a lengthy period of declining health. Born in Woburn, Daniel was one of six children of the late Ellwood E. and Winifred (O'Hearne) Dobbins.

Daniel was a Graduate of Woburn High School and went on to further his education receiving his bachelor's degree from Boston College and his master's degree from Suffolk University. Daniel worked for many years in the Computer and Communications field and in more recent years he owned and operated the Siren Intranet Company LLC of New York. Throughout his life, Daniel was a true car enthusiast, especially muscle cars, and enjoyed traveling around to different car shows. Daniel will be fondly remembered for his keen intellect and is love for a good cup of coffee. He will be greatly missed.

Daniel was the cherished brother of Kevin Dobbins of Woburn and his late wife Valerie, Donna Dobbins of Maine, the late Patricia Dobbins, Allan Dobbins, and Sheila Dobbins. He was the loving uncle of Nicholas Dobbins, Nathan Dobbins, Noreen (Dobbins) Joyce and her husband Chad. Great uncle of Chase Joyce, Samantha Mahoney, and Ava Dobbins.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, April17th, at 11 a.m. and may visit with the family prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
