Obituary

Deborah A. Johnson, 66, of Worcester was reunited with her Mom, Meme and Pepe whom she dearly missed on Tuesday, April 7th at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her children Kimberly Germain, Marques Johnson, and Tiffany Johnson and her fiancé, Isaiah Mclain-Robinson all of Worcester; ten grandchildren including Janiyah Johnson who was like a daughter to her; five great grandchildren and her sister, Michelle Grandmason.
Born in Worcester, she was a proud graduate of the David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School.
Deborah dedicated nearly ten years of her life to working at Jewish Health Care, where she cared deeply for her residents. She was known for her strong work ethic, compassion, and the genuine love she showed to those in her care. Deborah wasn’t just an employee—she became like family to many, always going above and beyond to make others feel comfortable and valued. She retired in 2020, leaving behind a lasting impression on both her colleagues and the residents she served.
Above all else, Deborah was devoted to her family. She was the kind of person who always put others first, offering her time, strength, and unwavering support whenever it was needed. She was resilient, strong, and deeply dedicated—a true caregiver in every sense of the word.
Deborah had a love for music that brought her joy, especially R&B, oldies, and Motown. Those who knew her will remember her as someone who could light up a room with her presence, kindness, and warmth. Simply put, she was the best—someone who gave her whole heart to the people she loved.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 15th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
