Obituary

PORTER- Robert Charles “Bob” Faulkner, 69, of Porter, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Bob was born on March 10, 1957, in Newton, Massachusetts, to Kenneth and Joan Faulkner. He grew up in Framingham and graduated from Framingham South High School.

Bob began his career at Sikorsky Aircraft in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Shortly thereafter, he followed in his parents’ footsteps by opening Sir Speedy Printing in Milford, Massachusetts. He later concluded his career at Xerox Corporation.

On Valentine’s Day in 1998, he married his beloved wife, Mary Anne Henry. Together they raised their family in Holliston, Massachusetts, while enjoying summers on the lake in Porter, Maine. They later retired lakeside in the home Bob proudly designed for his family on Bickford Pond.

Bob was known as an avid hockey fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his favorite team, the Boston Bruins. He had many hobbies throughout his life, including coaching youth hockey for his sons, tackling carpentry projects around the house, and boating on the lake.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Anne; his children, Timothy and his wife Jennifer, Jeffrey and his wife Sam, Jillian, Brandon, and Meghan; and his grandchildren, Brady, Olivia, and Sophia. He is also survived by his siblings, Stephen and Linda; his dear cousins, the Howdens; and many additional extended family members and friends whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Joan Faulkner, and his infant sister, Sandy.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 7th, from 1 - 3 PM at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish.

Bob’s family wishes to extend a warm thank you to the caring staff of the Andwell Health Partners Hospice team.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
