GROTON: Thomas J. DeFranco, age 60, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. He was born on May 16, 1965 in New Orleans, LA. Tom was adopted by his loving parents, John and Allie DeFranco.
He was known for his love of fishing, playing guitar and for his humorous personality.
Tom is survived by his three children, Christopher, Michael, and Nicole, his granddaughter Selena, and his sister Kim.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic.
At 1:00 there will be a celebration and remembrance of his life.
Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Life Luncheon at the Hilton in Mystic immediately following the service.
