Mary Etta Brown, 86, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Ms. Brown was born February 5, 1940, in Stephens County, Georgia, to the late Noah Clinton & Lettie Ora Pitts Kelley. She worked on the farm and as a seamstress at Fitzgerald Underwear. Ms. Brown enjoyed embroidering and gardening. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons: Christopher Brown of Fitzgerald and Scottie Brown (Tiffini) of Jupiter, Florida; grandchildren: Chip Brown (Corie), Mandy Adams, Mitch Brown (Tori), Kelley Rowe (Sean), and Scottie Brown (Morgan); great grandchildren: Cassie Brown, Bethany Brown, Madison Brown, Caitlyn Goodman, Lily Rowe, Piper Rowe, Huck Rowe, Easton Brown, Marlowe Brown, Remi Brown, Ford Brown and Lane Brown; and great-great grandchildren: Luca Goodman and Inez Goodman.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
