Paul D. Genest, 73, died March 17, 2026 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on July 23, 1952 the son of Fernand and Eloise (Provencher) Genest.
He was a graduate of St. Anselm College attended Middlebury College and received his Masters in French from the University of Paris.
He later joined the Peace Corps.
Prior to his retirement he taught languages at Manchester High School West as well as in the Bow School system for over 30 years.
He collected Pewter, was a antiques enthusiast, enjoyed cats, and playing Poker and going to Rockingham Race Track with his friends.
He leaves a cousin Suzie Morrissette of Trois Rivieres, PQ., several cousins and close friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Doris Genest.
A graveside committal service will take place on April 7, 2026 at 1 pm in St. Augustin Cemetery.
