
Robert J. “Bob” Carver, 89, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026 after a period of declining health.
Bob was born in Groveton, NH on March 5, 1937 to Edwin and Helen (McCormack) Carver, the second of 5 children and oldest boy. After graduating from Groveton High School Bob moved to Manchester, NH to attend trade school for construction. It was in Manchester that he met the love of his life, Yvette (Cloutier). They were married 64 years at the time of her passing in November 2022.
Bob and Yvette built their life together with their two children Kym and Randall (Randy), living in Manchester and Goffstown, finally settling in Bedford, NH . While building his family, Bob started his own construction company and remained busy in the Goffstown, Bedford, Merrimack, and Manchester areas for many years. Several of the structures he worked on and built remain standing to this day. He later went on to become the building inspector for the town of Merrimack.
Bob and Yvette migrated to the warmer weather of Florida in 1984 where they lived, worked and retired - returning to New Hampshire in 2014. In Florida Bob continued as a Sumter County building official until his retirement.
Bob leaves behind his daughter Kym and life partner Phil; son Randy and wife Melissa; Grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey, William and Meredith; Great Grandchildren Noah, Emma, Makenzie and Kaylin; brother Linwood and wife Jan of Ohio, sister-in-law Nora of Pennsylvania and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Yvette, a son Christopher, sister Beverly and husband Harry, brother Peter and wife Dianne, and brother Paul.
His family would like to thank the staff at The Hillsborough County Nursing Home for the tremendous love, care and compassion they showed Bob and Yvette during the last 12 years.
A funeral service will be held at Mount Calvary Mausoleum on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 12 noon.
