Paul L. McConnell, 79, of Westport, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Diane E. (Miller) McConnell.
Mr. McConnell was born in Fall River, son of the late Raymond and Vivian (Morin) McConnell and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to retirement, he worked as an electrician for Wayne J. Griffin Electric in Holliston, MA. He will be remembered as a devoted family man.
Survivors include his son: James A. McConnell and his wife Christine of Westport; his brother: Thomas McConnell and his wife Sandra of Norfolk, NE; 4 granddaughters: Krystal, Alisha, Alexis and Kayleigh; and 2 great grandchildren: Jakoby and Kinsley.
He was the father of the late Kevin P. McConnell and Christopher A. McConnell and brother of the late Raymond McConnell, Peter McConnell and Margaret Bernat.
