
Anthony J. Moccia, of Medford, March 22nd. Beloved son of the late Antonio and Grace (Tanso) Moccia. Brother of the late Rita Glionna and her late husband Angelo, the late George Moccia and his late wife Stella, the late Joseph Moccia and his late wife Ruth, the late Edward Moccia and his late wife Marilyn and the late Frank Moccia and his late wife Gloria. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Anthony has been a resident of Medford for most of his life. He served his country honorably as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. He received the Bronze Star for heroism for his acts of bravery during the battle of Hill 25, also known as Pork Chop Hill. Anthony worked for the Department of Public Works in North Reading, retiring after several years of service. He was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed bowling. Relatives and friend are invited to attend visiting hours at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday March 28th from 9-11 AM followed by Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
