Mary Frances McBrayer, 94, of Lenox passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. McBrayer at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Junior Morgan will officiate.
Born March 17, 1932, in Tift County, Mrs. McBrayer was the daughter of the late Benjamin Edward Baker and Dorothy Montgomery Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. McBrayer; three brothers, Buddy Baker, Buck Baker and Buster Baker; and five sisters, Eulamae McGee, Minilou Nightingale, Jo Ann McBrayer, Faye Barber and Gwen Thomas. She was a hard worker and retired from HeatCraft in Tifton, where she worked on the assembly line. She loved the Lord, and she was a member of Pineview Holiness Baptist Church.
She loved her family and raised all her brothers and sisters. She loved to go on walks and she loved to fish.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles Neal McBrayer of Lenox and Carl and Sandra McBrayer of Omega; three grandchildren and their spouses, Justin McBrayer and Jessica, John and Brooke McBrayer, and Shelby and Josh Milkeris; six great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Jade McBrayer and Caleb, Colby Justin McBrayer, Ansley Godwin, Brayden Dunn and Kynlee McBrayer; and one great-great grandchild, Charlie Kate Hill.
