Jeannette M. (Pilon) Jalbert was the loving mother of ten beautiful children, and the loving wife of the late Alfred Norman Jalbert. Her devotion to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in her life gave her the strength to live life to the fullest and to the raising of her ten children. Jeannette devoted herself in the early 1990’s as the Evening Administrator of the Chestnut Knoll, a Home for Aged Women, where she lovingly gave of herself to help the elderly. She also enjoyed buying and selling real estate after obtaining her real estate license in the mid-1990’s, whereupon she was awarded the Outstanding Money Management Volunteer Award in 1999 by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Jeannette was loved by all that graced her presence and always left her mark of encouragement and inspiration among those she had met. Requiescat in amore. Our loving mother joined with our Lord God on March 11, 2026 at the age of 101 years. She is predeceased by her husband Alfred Norman; daughter, Marie; and son, Gerard (Jerry). She will forever be lovingly missed by her children, Phillip (Susanne); Lorraine (Charles) Spahr; Yvonne Axiotis; Denise; Peter (Nina); Ronald (Barbara); Connie (Joseph) Pacheco; John (Colleen). In addition, loving grandchildren Hadley (Travis), Miles; Ian (Jas Mina), Travis (Jen); Thomas; Zachary, and Sarah also, her great grandchildren, Kennedy and Hayes; Tala; and Alanna. Visitation will be held on the morning of her funeral, Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A funeral home Prayer Service, led by Pastor Cove from the First Springfield Seventh Day Adventist Church, will begin at Noon followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Chicopee.
