
William Paul Caton, 89, of Medway died peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Medway Country Manor. He was the beloved husband of Hazel (Tucker) Caton who died in 2001.
Born in Roslindale on September 4, 1936, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Bingham) Caton.
William was a resident of Medway for the past 53 years. He grew up in Roslindale and proudly served in the Army for 2 years in the 3rd Armored Division 7th Tank Battalion.
William worked as a letter carrier in the town of Needham for 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time at the Medway Senior Center where he loved to play cards.
William served on the Council On Aging and also volunteered for many years at Medway town elections and at St. Joseph Church.
He is survived by his daughter Maryann Vautrinot and her husband Thomas of Plympton, two sons Paul and Ralph Caton, both of Medway, three grandchildren Laura, Julia and Erica, and one great-grandson Declan.
He is also survived by his sister Patricia Moran of Mansfield, and was the brother of the late Anna Twiss and John Caton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at St. Joseph Cemetery, Oakland Street in Medway on Wednesday, April 1st at 11 a.m.
