
Jeannine Fernand Eno died in her Londonderry, NH home on March 20, 2026, at the age of 89. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jeannine was born in Van Buren, ME on May 2, 1936 and was the daughter of Fernand and Corinne Dufour. Jeannine met her husband Don while he was stationed in Limestone, ME serving in the Air Force. They married in 1955. After living in Maine and Rhode Island they settled in Londonderry for over fifty years. Jeannine worked as a secretary at Londonderry High School and taught French to elementary grades at St. Josephs School in Salem, NH. She attended Mount St. Mary’s college and Rivier University obtaining a music degree.
Jeannine’s life was centered around her faith in God, her love of family and her lifelong friends. She was very active in the Catholic Church (Eucharistic minister), Al-anon and various spiritual and prayer groups. She was a volunteer teaching English to immigrants in FL. Jeannine had a fun loving laugh often sparked by her children’s wit and Don’s endless jokes.
Upon retirement they became snow birds in Estero, FL at the Breckenridge development. Jeannine and Don had fun being tour guides at the Edison home in Ft. Myers, FL. Jeannine and Don loved the arts, going to concerts and plays. Annual vacations trips to her family camp at Long Lake in Van Buren were wonderful memories. Her grandchildren loved their Memere’s hugs and her famous French toast.
Jeannine leaves behind her sons, Chris Eno of Enfield, NH, Mark Eno of Manchester, NH, David Eno of Stanardsville, VA, Tim Eno of Manchester, NH, Todd Eno of Brunswick, ME; daughter, Kim Ryan of Londonderry, NH; sister, Patricia Petrich and husband Robert of Newtown, PA; sister-in-law Cindy Dufour of Van Buren, ME; and her special childhood friend Lorraine Thayer of S. Yarmouth, MA. Jeannine had many grandchildren and great grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Jeannine was predeceased by her husband Don (2015) and brother Philip (2018).
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 10th at 12:00pm at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 1 South Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
