Terrence Duane Alden “Terry”, age 66, passed away on March 14, 2026. Born on February 6, 1960, Terry grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts and later made his home in Easton, Massachusetts.
Terry was a dedicated truck driver for many years and was known for always being in a truck. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed the simple comforts of home. Most times you could find him sitting on the couch watching old reruns of Dawson’s Creek and relaxing with his favorite beer, a Budweiser in a bottle. He was also a loyal New England sports fan who enjoyed cheering on his home teams.
Terry was the son of Eugene and Joyce (Anderson) Alden. He was the proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Joshua Murphy and Emily Murphy. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Savannah, Jalynn, Aiden, Noah, Josiah, and Joshua Jr.,
He is also survived by his siblings: Mark Alden and his wife Kathy; Julie and her husband Dave; Lynne and her late husband Eldon; and Darren Alden; as well as his longtime friend, John Sousa. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Craig Alden, who passed away in 2022. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
Terry will be remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Arrangements will be private, and Terry will be laid to rest following a private cremation.
