Boyd Lee “Ted” Coker, Jr., 75, of Ty Ty passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mr. Coker at a later date.
Born March 22, 1950, in Sylvester, Mr. Coker was the son of the late Boyd Lee Coker, Sr. and Ethel Marie Casteel Coker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Lee Coker; one grandson, Terry Wills, III; three sisters, Helen Coker, Patsy Montgomery and Vivian Lindsey; and one brother, Roger Coker. He retired from the City of Omega and was formerly a truck driver for Florida Rock Southern Concrete.
Mr. Coker is survived by one son, Josh David Coker of Tifton; one daughter, Catherine Elaine “Cathy” Grace of Albany; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Kay Coker of Sylvester; one sister and brother-in-law, Seryctha and Raymond Johnson of Sylvester; five grandchildren, John Lee Sanders, Brittany Nicole Jackson, Tyler David Coker, Dylan Ryan Coker and Gavin Louis Coker; and three great-grandchildren, Colton Lee Sanders, Haisley Grace Jackson and Vivian Grae Coker.
