William Wendell Sullivan, Jr. “Jack”, 89, of Tifton, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. A Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Nathan Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Church’s Memorial Garden. Following the service, the family will greet friends in the parish hall.
Jack graduated from the University of Georgia in 1960 and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Jack spent his working career in the apparel business which enabled him to travel extensively, which he loved.
Jack is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Loraine Short Sullivan; his daughters, Holly Simpson (Jamie) and Rebecca Gill (Steve); grandchildren, Jayce Simpson (Catherine), Annie Lhotka (John), Katie McKinley (Jake); great grandchildren, Mary Campbell and Frances Simpson, Charlie and Sloane Lhotka and Kennedy McKinley; sister Laura Sullivan Barkley and niece Buff Ramsey. He also leaves behind many cousins.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, William Wendell Sullivan, “Sully” and Edith Jones Hyde.
The family is forever grateful for the wonderful care Jack received from his “buddy” Randall Martin along with caregivers Christine Palmer and Ashley Davis.
