Mary M. (Sorrento) Ardagna, age 92, a resident of the Village at Willow Crossings in Mansfield, formerly of Quincy and Braintree, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Ardagna, to whom she was wed for over sixty years at the time of his death on June 3, 2013.
Born in Boston, MA on October 10, 1933, she was a loving daughter of the late Fred and Mary “Tina” (Lagrasso) Sorrento.
Mary grew up in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston and was educated in Boston schools. A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Mary also ran a daycare for children at her home in Braintree.
A resident of Mansfield for over ten years, Mary had a special love for the children she cared for throughout the years and spending time with her adoring family.
She was the beloved sister of the late Rose Paturzo and her late husband Carlo Paturzo and the late Charles Sorrento and his late wife Margaret “Peggy” Sorrento. She is survived by her loving nephew Matthew Paturzo and his significant other Jeanne Paradis of Mansfield.
Services, along with burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, will be held privately and visiting hours are omitted.
