“Old Bill” to Jillian, Shana, Jake, Jacki and Joseph Zinkus.

Bill grew up in Mexico, Maine. He joined the Navy to serve his beloved country and to see the world. He eventually found his way to Newport, Rhode Island, and later to Hingham, Massachusetts, where he met the love of his life, Barbara.
Bill worked for many years at Corkin Hufco as an installer. He retired early so he could lovingly care for Barbara.
Bill enjoyed life to the fullest and was always quick with a joke or a smile. He was involved in many fundraising events and was often happiest when helping others.
He loved to travel, to be near the ocean, and to play a good game of poker. Bill appreciated music, cocktails, and an occasional boat ride with friends.
Bill was always up for a good time. He was an enthusiastic sports fan who loved cheering on Boston teams.
He will be remembered for his kind ways, generous spirit, and warm sense of humor.
As he often showed through his life, there is grace in giving and grace in receiving.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 21, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth, MA at 10:30A.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Magical Moon Farm, 575 Summer St., Marshfield, MA.
