Dateline: North Attleboro, MA Ingrid G. (Loll) Parente, of North Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on her 88th birthday, surrounded by her loving family at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo J. Parente, Jr., to whom she was wed for twenty-six years at the time of his death on September 1, 1984. She was one of nine children and was born in West Germany on March 4, 1938 Ingrid grew up and was educated in Germany. Following WWII, she met her future husband Leo, who was stationed in Germany with the United states Army. Following their marriage, the couple moved to the United States, settling in Mansfield where she resided for forty-eight years. A resident of North Attleboro for the past twenty years, Mrs. Parente was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, whom she loved dearly. She was an accomplished bowler and bowled in women’s league, mainly at North Bowl in North Attleboro, for fifty years. Ingrid was also a loyal fan of the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox. She is survived by her devoted children, Laurie A. Ellis of Plainville, Stephan Parente and his wife Denice of Maine, Paul Parente of Pennsylvania, Ronnie Parente of Attleboro and Maryellen Titus of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael Ellis and his wife Tiffany of Florida, Cory Parente of Fairhaven, Cully Parente of Maine, Brittany McKim and her husband Greg of North Attleboro, Emanuelle Parente of Pennsylvania and the great grandmother of Addi, Mason, Cam, Arianna and Austin. Burial will take place privately at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield and visiting hours have been omitted.
