Karen E. Cue, 77, of Windham, NH, passed away at home on Monday March 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 15, 1948, in Hibbing, MN, a daughter of the late Holger and Bernice (Rantala) Larson.
Karen graduated from Hibbing High School in 1966, Hibbing Junior College in 1968, and completed her education with a degree in Pharmacy from North Dakota State University in 1971. Throughout her career, she practiced Pharmacy in Illinois, Vermont and New Hampshire. She and her husband Charles owned and operated their own business, Crossroads Pharmacy, in Londonderry, NH for a number of years. The latter portion of her career gave her the opportunity to focus on working in a hospital setting, which was where she shined. She worked at Portsmouth Hospital, Exeter Hospital and Parkland Medical Center in Derry. The latter of which awarded her with their Humanitarian award in 1994. In her free time, Karen loved gardening, relaxing with a good book, traveling the world with her husband, spending time with her grandkids, and when available, some rejuvenation in a good sauna.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Charles Cue of Windham, her son, Bryan Cue and wife Jessica of Nashua; her daughter, Stephanie Plutnicki and husband James of Pelham; five grandchildren, Alex Plutnicki, Matthew Plutnicki, Connor Cue, Abigail Cue and Jason Cue; two sisters, Carol Latina of Illinois and Kay Hocking of Minnesota; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathie Allen.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2026 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
