
Jeannine V. (Mercier) Knorring, 92 of Worcester died Saturday, February 28th in the Lutheran Home with her loving family by her side. Her husband of 53 years, Richard T. Knorring died in 2004. She is survived by three sons, Peter Knorring of Buzzards Bay, David Knorring and his wife, Kerry and Jeffrey Knorring and his wife, Courtney all of Holden; two daughters, Donna Crino and her husband, Edward of Hubbardston and Michelle Nishino and her husband, Vincent of Holden; her brother, Donald Mercier and his wife, Gladys of Worcester; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her son, Ricky Knorring predeceased her in 1971.
She was born in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Edward and Clara (Bourassa) Mercier and had been a long time Worcester resident. Jeannine had worked for the former White Cleaners, the Tatnuck Donut Shop and as a hairdresser before turning her full-time attention to her family. She also extended her family by being a foster parent along with her husband. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as time spent on Cape Cod with her husband.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are from 12 Noon until the time of the service on Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and in memory of her husband, Richard T.
