Robert “Shepherd” Lamb went to Heaven to be with Jesus on February 26, 2026. He was the precious son of Clay and Laurel Branch Lamb.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert “Larry” Lamb; also, by his great-grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. O.W. Cravey (Sarah Frances) and Mr. & Mrs. A.F. “Yank” Lamb (Ione); as well as great-grandparents Mr. & Mrs. James Curtis Branch (Lois) and Mr. & Mrs. Eston Walker (Bobbie).
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Besides his parents, Shepherd is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Kathe Walker Branch of Tifton; his paternal grandmother, Vicki Lamb of Omega; his maternal uncle and aunt, Mack and Tamara Branch of Tifton; his paternal aunt and uncle, Render and Stacey Lamb Heard of Tifton; his maternal cousins, Jerry “Brooks” Branch and Daniel “Parker” Branch of Tifton; and his paternal cousins, Grant Metts of Watkinsville, Alexandria Heard of Savannah, and Gabriella Heard of Athens.
Flowers will be accepted as well as memorial gifts made to Connect Ministries of Watkinsville 1725 Electric Avenue, Suite 290, Watkinsville, GA 30677, and First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 404 Love Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794.
In his time on earth, Shepherd was dearly loved.
