Pauline M. (DeBlois) Pouliot

CHICOPEE – Pauline M. (DeBlois) Pouliot, 96, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, February 26, 2026. She passed into Eternal Life at Hampden Post Acute Care in Wilbraham surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born and educated in Frampton, Province of Quebec, Canada and had immigrated to Willimansett in 1954 with her late husband, Nicolas. She moved to Holyoke in 2010 before moving to Wilbraham in 2020. She was employed as a sales clerk at the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside for many years. She was a communicant and member of the Ladies of Saint Anne of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and currently was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church, both in Chicopee. She also was a member of the Hope Center at the former Our Lady of Hope Church in Springfield. During her leisure time, she enjoyed knitting, listening to music and playing cards. She enjoyed family gatherings, holding the newest baby in the family and her favorite treat, “sugar on snow” for her birthdays. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Nicolas J. Pouliot who was Called Home on June 19, 1996. She leaves her six loving children, Claude A. Pouliot and his wife, Claire, of Suffolk, VA, Marcel M. Pouliot and his wife, Christine, of Springfield, Linda A. Pothier and her husband, Gary, of Millbury, Nancy J. Allen and her husband, David, of Belchertown, David C. Pouliot of Westfield and Christine P. Amo and her husband, David, of Chicopee; her 12 cherished grandchildren; her many cherished great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends in the United States and Canada. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her nine dear brothers and sisters. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral home parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
