Lorraine H. (Bastille) Theroux, 83, of Westport passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Theroux.
Mrs. Theroux was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Emile J. and Dorothy L. (Baker) Bastille and had resided in Westport since 1969. Prior to retirement in 2007, she worked at Charlton Memorial Hospital as a nutrition assistant and following retirement, continued to work there as a volunteer. She had also worked as a pharmacist technician at Plaza Pharmacy. She coached the Westport Girls Basketball Team and was the first coach for the Westport Girls Softball Team. Mrs. Theroux was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport and also helped start the first Our Lady of Grace Teen Club. She was an avid reader.
Survivors include her son: Stephen C. Theroux and his wife Karen of Nantucket; her 2 daughters: Carol A. Theroux Cabral of Lexington, SC and Tami A. Teixeira and her significant other Nathan Lister of Little Compton; a brother: Richard J. Bastille of Taunton; 6 grandchildren: Jamie, Katy, Kristen, Evan, Brenna and Morgan; 2 great grandchildren: Eira and Ciaran; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Michelle Theroux Silvia.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will be private.
