CHICOPEE – Brenda D. Garrity, 65, of the Chicopee Falls section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, February 22, 2026. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Holyoke on September 27, 1960, a beloved daughter of the late Albert F. Garrity, Sr. and Alice C. (Lepine) Garrity. She was raised and educated in Chicopee and had lived in Chicopee and Flagler Beach, FL her entire life. She was employed at Sunshine Village in Chicopee. She was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. She loved spending time with family and her many friends on Hilton Street in Chicopee Falls and Sunshine Village. She will be deeply missed by her four loving siblings, Sandra P. Daviau and her husband, Edward, of Rowe, Albert F. Garrity, Jr. and his partner, Anne Doherty, of Onset, Patricia A. DelMonte and her husband, Daniel, of Chicopee and Kevin M. Garrity and his wife, Cheryl, of Granby; and her many cherished nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family members and friends. Her funeral services and burial will be private.
