With heavy hearts, yet trusting in God’s promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Isaias Nava Ramos, age 64, who entered into the Lord’s eternal embrace on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Born in Michoacán, Mexico, Isaias carried with him a deep love for his family, his heritage, and his faith throughout his life. He was the beloved son of Severo Nava and the late Sofia Ramos, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. A devoted and loving husband to Maria Suarez, Isaias cherished his family above all else. He was a proud and caring father to Severo Padilla, Isaias, and Elias, always striving to lead by example with strength, humility, and quiet dedication.

He was a dear brother to Jose, Raul, Gloria, Gelacio, Juana, Amado, Ubaldo, Cristina, Imelda, and Eva, holding close the bonds of family that remained central throughout his life. As a grandfather of five and great-grandfather of three, his greatest joy was found in the laughter and presence of his grandchildren, whose lives are a lasting testament to his love.

Isaias will be remembered for his steadfast heart, his hardworking spirit, and the love he freely gave. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in our faith, trusting that he now rests in the peace of Christ and the light of God’s eternal kingdom.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Additional parking is available at Five Holy Martyrs, 4327 S Richmond St.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at St. Rita of Cascia Parish, 6243 S Fairfield Ave., where we will gather in prayer to commend Isaias to the Lord.

Following Mass, interment will take place at Saint Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St.

Con profundo dolor, pero confiando en la promesa de la vida eterna, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Isaias Nava Ramos, de 64 años, quien partió a la Casa del Padre el sábado 21 de febrero de 2026.

Nacido en Michoacán, México, Isaias llevó siempre en su corazón un profundo amor por su familia, sus raíces y su fe. Fue el querido hijo de Severo Nava y de la difunta Sofia Ramos, cuyo amor y ejemplo marcaron su vida. Es recordado como un esposo fiel y amoroso de Maria Suarez, y un padre orgulloso y dedicado de Severo Padilla, Isaias y Elias. Siempre procuró guiarlos con fortaleza, humildad y un amor incondicional.

Fue también un querido hermano de Jose, Raul, Gloria, Gelacio, Juana, Amado, Ubaldo, Cristina, Imelda y Eva, manteniendo siempre la unión familiar como un tesoro invaluable. Como abuelo de cinco y bisabuelo de tres, encontraba su mayor alegría en la sonrisa y el cariño de sus nietos y bisnietos, quienes fueron la luz de sus ojos y el fruto de su legado.

Isaias será recordado por su corazón generoso, su espíritu trabajador y el amor que entregó sin medida. Aunque hoy nuestros corazones sienten su ausencia, nos consuela la fe al saber que ahora descansa en la paz de Cristo y goza de la luz eterna del Señor.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 5 de marzo de 2026, de 3:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Habrá estacionamiento adicional disponible en Five Holy Martyrs, 4327 S Richmond St.

La Misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará a las 10:00 a.m. el viernes 6 de marzo de 2026 en St. Rita of Cascia Parish, 6243 S Fairfield Ave., donde nos reuniremos en oración para encomendar su alma al Señor.

Al finalizar la Misa, se procederá al entierro en Saint Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St.

Que el Señor le conceda el descanso eterno, y que brille para él la luz perpetua. Amén.
