
EAST WATERBORO- Ronald Wesley Hall, 64, of East Waterboro, Maine, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. After a hard fought, but brief battle with cancer with his loving husband by his side.
Ron was born on April 26, 1961, in Westfield, Massachusetts, the son of Wesley Delbert Hall and Frances Anne (Krutka) Hall. He was raised with strong family values that he carried with him throughout his life.
Ron, dedicated 22 years of service to Shape Inc. as a skilled mechanic, where his strong work ethic and steady hands earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Never one to ignore his true calling, he later pursued his passion for cosmetology, bringing the same dedication and precision to his craft. Whether repairing a machine or behind a styling chair, he took immense pride in building long lasting relationships with his customers. Known for his warm heart and comedic personality, he had a gift for making others laugh, turning every appointment and encounter into a moment of connection and joy.
He is survived by his beloved husband of 13 years Patrick Mahon, Ron’s partner and closest companion of 40 years. He also leaves behind a brother, William Hall, a niece and nephew Shelby and Tyler, all residing in Virginia. His Cousins Bonnie, Kim, Lenny, Chip, and Judy. Also his cherished fur babies Cooper and Gizmo. Friends and coworkers who will remember him for his loyalty, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family.
Ron received his education graduating from Thornton Academy, Saco, Maine. Ron continued to learn throughout his life, always valuing practical skills and personal connections.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation arrangements are under the care of Poitras Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers please make kind donations in Ron’s name to Waterboro Fire Dept at 24 Townhouse Rd, East Waterboro, ME, 04030. They were quick to respond and wonderful to Pat & Ron during their time of need.
A celebration of life for Ron will be held in the summer of 2026 for family and friends at location to be determined.
Ron will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
