Gloria Luaiza Diaz, age 69, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 21, 2026, surrounded by the love that she so faithfully gave throughout her life.

Gloria was a devoted and loving mother to Guadalupe (Jose Luis), Gloria (Adolfo), and Amparo Nicolas (Diana). Her children were her greatest pride and deepest joy. She carried their burdens in her heart, celebrated their triumphs with radiant happiness, and loved them with the unconditional love only a mother can give.

She was a cherished sister to Amparo, Procopio, and Efigenia, and a proud and tender grandmother to seven beloved grandchildren who brought endless light into her life. Her home was a place of warmth, faith, and welcome — where no one left hungry and everyone felt embraced.

Gloria now reunites in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Nicolas Diaz, and her dear parents, Alejandro Luaiza and Carmen Diaz. We take comfort in our Catholic faith, trusting in God’s promise of eternal life, and believing she has been received into His loving arms, where sorrow and suffering are no more. May the Lord grant her eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Additional parking is available at Five Holy Martyrs Church, 4327 S Richmond.

Burial will take place in Michoacán, Mexico, where she will rest in her homeland.

Gloria’s love lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though we grieve her absence, we hold fast to faith, family, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.



Gloria Luaiza Diaz, de 69 años, falleció en paz en su hogar el sábado 21 de febrero de 2026, rodeada del amor que ella misma sembró con tanta generosidad a lo largo de su vida.

Gloria fue una madre devota y amorosa para Guadalupe (Jose Luis), Gloria (Adolfo) y Amparo Nicolas (Diana). Sus hijos fueron su mayor orgullo y su alegría más profunda. Llevaba sus preocupaciones en el corazón, celebraba sus logros con inmensa felicidad y los amó siempre con ese amor incondicional que solo una madre sabe ofrecer.

Fue querida hermana de Amparo, Procopio y Efigenia, y una abuela orgullosa y tierna de siete adorados nietos, quienes llenaron su vida de luz y esperanza. Su hogar era un refugio de calidez, fe y acogida, donde nadie se iba sin sentirse amado y bendecido.

Gloria se reúne ahora en el descanso eterno con su amado esposo, Nicolas Diaz, y con sus queridos padres, Alejandro Luaiza y Carmen Diaz. Confiamos en la promesa de nuestra fe católica y en la misericordia de Dios, creyendo que ha sido recibida en Sus brazos amorosos, donde ya no existe el dolor ni el sufrimiento. Que el Señor le conceda el descanso eterno y brille para ella la luz perpetua.

La velación se llevará a cabo el lunes 2 de marzo de 2026, de 3:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Habrá estacionamiento adicional disponible en Five Holy Martyrs Church, 4327 S Richmond.

El sepelio se realizará en Michoacán, México, donde descansará en su tierra natal.

El amor de Gloria permanece vivo en el corazón de todos los que la conocieron. Aunque sentimos profundamente su partida, nos sostenemos en la fe, la familia y los hermosos recuerdos que nos deja.
