
Lillian Maybelle Ray Harnage, 89, of Tifton passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Tim Henry officiating. Mrs. Harnage will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Harnage’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Born May 21, 1936, in Berrien County, Mrs. Harnage was the daughter of the late John Arthur Ray and Maggie Lee Tucker Ray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Harnage, Jr., one son, William Jack Abbott; and one daughter, Lillian Ruth Fox. She was a homemaker and a member of Independent Worship Center in Tifton.
Mrs. Harnage is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Ann Webb, Vincent Lee Striker and Julian and Gail Matthews, all of Tifton and Leon Wilcos of Chula; one daughter, Wanda Faye of Tifton; one stepson and his wife, Joseph Wayne and Doris Harnage of Tifton; one stepdaughter and her husband, Tammy and Steve Pritchett of Ty Ty; one brother, John Arthur Ray, Jr. of Enigma; one half-sister, Mabel Minchew of Fitzgerald; 25 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 45 great-great grandchildren; and seven great-great-great grandchildren.
