George (Vasken) Mouradian
2/19/2026

George Mouradian passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the age of 91. Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, he was the devoted son of the late Abraham and Arousaig (Cacherian) Mouradian and the beloved brother of the late William Mouradian, Mary Garabedian, and Solomon “Sully” Mouradian.

George was the cherished husband of Sylvia Mouradian and a loving father to three children: Adele Nee and her husband Jimmy of Canton; Michael Mouradian of Walpole; and George Mouradian and his wife Maria of East Walpole. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Richie, Mary, Emily, Hannah, Erin, and Mark. His greatest joy was his family, whom he loved deeply and supported wholeheartedly.

A proud veteran, George honorably served in the United States Coast Guard from 1952 to 1956. Following his military service, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bryant University and later a Master’s degree in Accounting from Suffolk University. He went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career as an accountant with Plymouth Rubber Company, where he was respected for his integrity and strong work ethic until his retirement.

In his retirement years, George found great happiness in completing crossword puzzles, assisting his grandchildren with their homework, and enthusiastically attending their sporting events. He cherished time spent with family and friends and lived his life with warmth, kindness, and quiet generosity.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend an Orthodox Funeral Mass at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Ave, Roslindale, on Thursday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
