Fatos Telhaj, 59 of Worcester, died Tuesday, February 17th in UMass Hospital University Campus after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Inesa (Aliko) Telhaj; his two daughters Fabjola and Frejsis Telhaj, his mother, Bele (Ago) Telhaj; his brother, Delil Telhaj and his wife, Mimoza; three sisters, Perjanda Rusha and her husband, Petraq, Rajmonda Merjemaj and her husband, Hysen and Alisa Telhaj all of Worcester and five nephews and nieces, in Worcester and Albania.
He was born in Permet, Albania, his father was the late, Reshat Telhaj. Fatos came to the United States from Albania in 2019; and had worked as an assembler for T. J. Maxx. Before moving to the United States, he had worked as a first responder in Albania. He will be remembered as a loving person who was always willing to help anyone with anything. Fatos enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his loving daughters, who were the center of his life. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
His funeral is Thursday, February 19th at 12 Noon, at O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home the day of the funeral.
